They say we are part of nature. In nature everything has a role.
What is the Human’s niche?
What were the Human’s first responsibilities?
Were we always meant to be so arrogant and self-interested?
What values should we re-learn in order to deserve our continued presence on this planet?
It’s important for indigenous peoples to preserve their cultural practices.
But not this colonial, capitalist society. This metastasized Western mindset could do us all a favor and take guidance from the lemmings.
In the meantime, we might want to learn practical skills that could help us be better Humans.
Throughout history all Humans were able to turn raw, natural materials into food, shelter, clothing, tools, art, and bling. All without going into debt!
In fact, if you’re doing it right, you could even leave things better than you found them.
